This free one day training session invites members of the public to come along and find out more about how research is designed and managed, and the role that patients and members of the public can have in working with researchers. Everyone is welcome.
Researchers are increasingly looking to involve people with experience of medical conditions, either as patients or carers, to help develop research studies. This training session provides non-research staff with an introduction to research procedures such as ethics and methodologies, and explores the role of the patient/ public perspective in developing research.
